HSC Knowledge Transfer Scheme Open

Public Health Agency logoThe HSC R&D Division has announced that its Knowledge Transfer Scheme is open for applications, with a deadline of 1st March 2013. Here are the details from HSC R&D:

The Health & Social Care Research and Development Division of the Public Health Agency (HSC R&D Division) recognises that research findings should be translated into health or social care benefits as quickly and efficiently as possible. As such, funding is being offered under the Knowledge Transfer Scheme to aid the translation of research findings.

Eligibility and Scope of Awards

The Knowledge Transfer Scheme is intended to support knowledge transfer that delivers practice, policy, social and/or economic benefits. The scheme cannot be used to fund research.  Rather, the funding should be used to transfer previously generated knowledge and develop an effective engagement with the users of research outputs/outcomes. The maximum award available is £100,000 and the maximum duration is 18 months.

The deadline for receipt of applications is Friday 1st March 2013 at 4.00pm.
